Now Filmmakers actors and directors are coming in support of Karan Joar the director for his movie Mushkil Hai. The movie is in Mushkil times facing flak and ban from the MNS apart from the exhibitors. They don’t want to take the risk. At this point of time the issue is being taken up to the level of Prime Minister Modi via twitter.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is not new to the ‘banned’ zone of Bollywood movies has come out in support of Karan Johar whose latest, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is sailing through rough waters. ADHM is at the center of controversy because it features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in a significant role.
The movie and the makers started facing the brunt of outrage after MNS called for a ban on the movies starring Pakistani artistes in any capacity and told them to leave the country. Move by MNS was a response to recent attacks in Uri. Taking to his Twitter account, in series of tweets, Kashyap voiced his opinion and further questioned PM Narendra Modi’s impromptu visit to Pakistan to ask after the health of their prime minister – Nawaz Sharif.
He tweeted, “The World must learn from us.. We solve all our problems by blaming it on movies and banning it.. #ADHM. With you on this @karanjohar. @narendramodi Sir you haven’t yet said sorry for your trip to meet the Pakistani PM.. It was dec 25th.
Same time KJo was shooting ADHM? Why? @narendramodi why is it that we have to face it while you can be silent?? @narendramodi and you actually diverted your trip on our tax money,while the film shot then was on money on which someone here pays interest. @narendramodi I am just trying to understand the situation because I am actually dumb and I don’t get it.
