Harshavardhan Rane was in popular Telugu movies like Avunu, Prema Ishq Kadhal etc. He was also seen in a small role in the blockbuster hit Fidaa recently. Harshavardhan seems to have bagged a very big offer now.
Famous Bollywood filmmaker JP Datta as the director, Harsha Vardhan has been roped in the movie titled Paltan. Paltan is touted to be a war drama. The makers were looking forward to roping in Abhishek Bachchan at the first place, but Rane seems to have replaced him now.
The makers were looking for a tall actor and also physically fit person. Seems things did not work out with Abhishek, and hence Harshavardhan grabs this offer. However, the makers are very satisfied with the casting, as all they want is a fit hero which Rane is.
