Bhumana Karunakar the Tirupathi MLA is second time lucky. He is the TTD chief for the second time. People say he has a Christian link.But Jagan has decided to recognize his services.
The former Chairman of the TTD who did for two terms was also accused of having Christian links.
Bhumana was the TTD Chief during the YSR regime. There were allegations of the misappropriation of the TTD jewelry.
Bhumana’s son, Abhinay Reddy has become a defacto MLA ever since YSR Congress came to power. He recently won as a corporator and later became deputy Mayor of Tirupati.
And from then, he is behaving as if no one can stop him. Rumors in the constituency are that he is also into many controversial issues that are bringing a bad name to the government.
He is also known for not taking the party’s local leaders into confidence and that is leading to group culture in the party. Now both the son and father are all set to take care of the Tirupathi and Tirumala.
Bhumana has been faithful to the YSR family for the last several years and that paid off now. Bhumana can walk in and walk out to the TTD Lord’s darshan as if he is visiting a local temple.
Pilgrims are not happy with the way things are going on at Tirumala hill shrine and at least Bhumana must try to improve it in his second term this time.
