The High Court has directed the parties concerned to take up the farmhouse case after the Munugode poll which is November fourth. The probe into the case will be kept in abeyance until the completion of the bypoll in Munugode.

This was the order given by the court on the petition filed by the BJP. First, the court did not allow the Police to take the alleged purchasers of the TRS MLAs into custody.

Later the court suggested that the accused must be taken into custody as per the rules of ACB Court. The court asked the accused to surrender before the police in Cyberabad.

The Police were supposed to present the accused before the ACB court as per the procedure. But finally, the court stalled the probe till the Munugode poll is completed.

Further investigation will take place from November fourth. We can say that the Police have goofed up the corruption case by not following the rules properly.

There was no proper evidence produced by the Police for proving that the MLAs were lured by the accused. No money was seized in this case. In other words, there is no fitting evidence in the case.

The Court has also ordered the Telangana government to file a counter in this case.
