President Ramnath Kovind today stated that the implementation of the farm laws has been postponed as per the Court directions.
The directions of the court will be implemented by the Government he said.
Kovind while addressing the joint session of the parliament before the Budget session said that the farm laws were for the betterment of the farming community and they must understand that.
He also termed the unruly incidents created by the farmers in Delhi as very unfortunate and that protecting the law and order was very important. Kovind state that the National Flag was insulted by the rioting farmers.
The farm laws will immediately benefit crores of farmers he said.The speech of President Kovind was boycotted by 19 parties of the opposition. While the President was speaking, some MPs raised the slogans Jai Jawan -Jai Kisan.
The President also listed out various schemes of the Government and what the Government did for the welfare of the people in General.
In General the President praised the efforts of the Government in developing the country and condemned the way the Tractor rally was conducted on republic day here in Delhi.
The law and order must be protected at any cost he suggested.
