On the reliable information, The Special Operation Team, Shamshabad zone have busted Fake Vehicle Registration certificate (R.C) and Aadhar Card gang and apprehended 07 persons, who were preparing the fake vehicle Registration certificates (R.C) and selling the vehicles by using them to needy people. Later seized 1200 Fake Vehicle Registration certificates (R.C) and (29) stamps, Computer systems, printers and other relevant documents related to Fake Registration certificates (R.C) from the possession of the apprehended accused persons.
MODUS OPERANDI:
Most of the general public purchases 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers with loan from different financial companies. Later due to financial difficulties, they fail to re-pay the finance amount monthly, due to which the finance companies or agencies recovers/seizes vehicles from vehicle owners. At the time of seizure vehicle owners do not provide original RC’s. Later the recovered/seized vehicles will be sold to third party (Vehicle agencies/ Individuals) on auction to recover their finance amount and gives NOC certificate to third party.
The third party (Agencies/ Individuals) further sells the same vehicles for needy people and those people approaches RTA office for reissue of RC’s of vehicles, As per the process at RTA, RTA officers takes back the old Original RC from Previous vehicle owners and after verifying with aadhar Card, issues the new RC, so instead of getting Old Original RC and aadhar copy (for verification) from previous owners, the third party vehicle sellers colludes with RTA Agents and submits duplicate RC and aadhar in the process of re-issue of fresh RC as Original RC on the name of New vehicle buyer name by cheating the RTA officials.
In this process Accused persons formed a gang, A-5 Hussain and A7 Sampath Steals the Original RC cards from different RTA offices and sells to A-2 for Rs 200/- per card and further A-2 sells to A-1 Rs 300/- per card.
Later The Accused A-1 Chamana Sathish prepares fake Vehicle Registration certificate (R.C) and fake aadhar cards with the help of A-4 M. Ganesh by using previous costumer details which is given by A-3 Chandra shekar. He erases the data of the card by using nail polish remover (Dazzler), later he prints the data which is received by the A-3 Chandra Shekar and A-1 sells the printed RC for Rs. 700-900/- per card to A-4 Chandra Shekar.
And A6 collects the RCs from A5 and erases the data and re print the RC on DTP. Later A-3 Chandra Shekar and A6 Ramesh meets with RTA Agents A-2 and A-5 and cheats the RTA officials and get the new RC’s.
