The TTD must extend Pay link SMS to all the payments of the pilgrims. They must not be made to run from pillar to post like visiting MBC 34 and also CRO offices.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is enhancing the devotees’ experience by introducing a new online system called “Pay link SMS”.

This system would simplify the process of procuring hard copies of Arjitha Sevas and other darshan tickets of the Tirumala temple.

Previously, the devotees who were selected through a lucky dip draw had to visit the counters to make the payment and collect their darshan tickets. With the new “Pay link” SMS system, the process has been simplified for the devotees who are selected in the lucky dip. They are provided a “seamless ticket procurement experience.”

Under this new system, TTD’s central reception office (CRO) now sends a unique “Pay link” SMS to the devotees selected in the lucky dip. The devotees may click on the provided link and complete the payment online using credit/debit cards, net banking or UPI. Subsequently, they can conveniently print out their tickets without visiting the CRO counters.

“Currently, the new system is on a trial basis at the lucky dip counter in the CRO. The TTD plans to extend this facility to the MBC-34 counter for allotment of Arjitha Sevas and VIP Break Darshan tickets, provided underprivileged quota.
