Like Congress party we are not doing projects on the papers, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said. He was answering to the members here in the Assembly during the budget session on the third day.
We are taking loans and will repay them also he assured. The amount is spent on improving the irrigation facilities here in the state to make the farmer self-reliant he said. We are cultivating paddy, cotton and corn CM explained.
In future, there will not be any scope for complaint from the farmer’s side or the opposition side KCR said. Getting loans is our problem, why do you bother he questioned the opposition.
The money will be raised from outside the purview of the budget also he said. Special purpose vehicles will also be launched for taking the loans he explained.
All this is being done under the guidelines of the central Government KCR stated. Did anyone dream of giving water to every household the CM asked. I am alleging that the water tribunals are resolving the issues and lot of hurdles are coming against the projects he explained. There will be no water problem in the summer KCR assured.
All the households will have potable clean water to drink he stated. There will be no pilferage of funds as the local bodies will monitor all the projects he stated.
The houses were built by the Congress on papers and the majority of it has gone to corruption. They have just drawn bills and did not do any construction. We have convinced Maharashtra government for some water projects, KCR explained.
The budget precisely is to eradicate poverty and improve the quality of the life of the common man apart from the farming community KCR assured.
