Etela Rajender who was sent out of the TRS, in the name of land grabbing allegations could retain his Huzurabad seat with a good majority. He is the new blue-eyed boy of the BJP for Telangana.
As a leader Etela is growing in stature in the party. But we have to see how far he would go forward in the party. There is a talk that the next elections would be fought under the leadership of Etela.
But Kishan Reddy has been there with the party and he has done his best for the party. Kishan is also very close to PM Modi. Who would be the CM candidate for the BJP in the coming election is the question.
Dr Laxman is another old guard in the party who was also the BJP President here. Bandaru Dattatreya the Governor from Telangana will support Kishan Reddy and Laxman.
So how far Etela will be successful in his political career is a big question. Vivek Venkat Swany is another leader who also has ambition in the Telangana BJP.
