Etela Rajender will join BJP in the presence of its national president JP Nadda and others in New Delhi on June 14.
Former MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy and Zilla Parishad chairperson Tula Uma will also join BJP along with Rajender. Tarun Chugh the BJP In-charge for Telangana said Etela Rajender “played a crucial role in Statehood movement” and he was striving for the development of Telangana for the last 20 years.
Leaders like Rajender are required for the party to strengthen it in the State. The BJP’s objective is to ensure overall development of Telangana Chug stated.
We will welcome anyone who wants to strive for the development of the State, Chugh said, welcoming the former Minister into the BJP fold.
Chugh held a series of meetings with senior BJP leaders from the State and party general secretaries to discuss the measures to be taken to strengthen the party on all fronts.
Senior leaders including former MP G Vivek, MLAs T Raja Singh and M Raghunandan Rao, former Minister DK Aruna and former BJP MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy attended the meetings.
