Even after meeting the BJP National President JP Nadda, Etela Rajendar who was suspended by the Telangana Government from the Minister is in two minds.
He did not accept the invitation of the BJP Chief Nadda immediately. He urged Nadda to give him some time to thinkover. It was more of a pressure from Vivek Venkatswamy to join the party that led to the meeting with Nadda in Delhi.
The discussion was for about an hour and most of it was about the Governance of KCR in Telangana. The discussion on Etela joining the party was very less.
Etela is still in two minds over joining the BJP. Etela will be just like any other worker after joining the party. Kishan Freddy and Laxman will call the shots.
Etela has to seek the permission of Bandi Sanjay before addressing any press meet here at the Nampally party office of the BJP. But Vivek is very particular that Etela must join the party.
Vivek himself is not having a free hand in the party. There is also a talk that Etela may not contest as an MLA again. It is crystal clear that Etela is joining the party to protect his lands and money.
Vivek is also trying to lure Vishweshwar Reddy into the BJP. But Vishweshwar Reddy is behaving like a cat on the wall. But all said and done what will happen to Vivek and Etela if the TRS and BJP contest together in the next election is the big question.
