EO checks food in hotels

While the TTD is improving the quality of Srivari Laddus, it has clarfied that there was no private party involved in the making of the Laddu as such.

They are using the latest machinery designed by Reliance Industries.

There were rumours in the Social media that some private contractors were making the laddu. TTD clarified that this is false.

Amidst the growing rumours and misinformation circulating on social media, TTD has reaffirmed the longstanding tradition of the laddus being prepared exclusively by Sri Vaishnava Brahmins.

TTD has categorically stated that the Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasad is not prepared under the direction of any contractor, as falsely claimed in some social media posts. They have emphasized that 980 Hindu Potu workers are responsible for the various duties involved in the making of the laddus, from fetching raw materials to managing the laddu counters.

The EO is also tasting and checking the quality of the Laddu Prasadam.

EO is also inspecting food preparations here in the hotels on the Tirumala. Quality of the materials is also being checked by the EO and other officers. EO has found out that most of the hotels are not
having proper sanitation.

Prohibited colours are also being used in hotels. Water logging was also found in the hotels. PDS rice was also being used in Tirumala.

Stale-cooked rice is also being used. Most of the kitchen are unhygienic.

EO issued warnings to all the hotels on Tirumala regarding cleanliness.
