Union Minister Harshavardhan met K Chandrasekhar Rao here today at the camp office and congratulated him on the recent victory in Telangana. While thanking him KCR explained to him about the forest lands, greenery and other irrigation projects in the state. He thanked Harshavardhan for giving permission to Kaleshwaram and other projects.
He also enlisted other irrigation projects in the state and requested the Minister to speed up the process of the permissions.
He also wanted the minsters to allocaete the funds for growing more greeny in the forest lands. He wanted the Union Minister to release funds to the extent of around Rs 100 crores for the development of greenery. CentralKCR explained the steps taken by the TRS government for the protection of forests and forest lands. Harshavardhan told KCR that a new law would be in force soon for the protection of the forest lands.
