The elections would be held in the state of Telangana on 7nth December and the results would be out on 11nth December.
There is a petition pending in the court when it comes to the state of Telangana the CEC stated. The CEC has announced the schedule for Telangana,MP, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram. The voter’s list in Telangana would be released on 12th October. After the court verdict, the list of voters in Telangana would be declared.
CEC Rawat reminded that whenever the Assembly is dissolved the elections have to be conducted within 6 months of the dissolution of the Assembly. The election code would be applicable to the 4 states from today the CEC declared.
The process of elections would be completed by December 15nth he said. After announcing the schedule for 5 states, CEC has announced that Telangana will have elections only in one phase and that would be on December 7nth. The results would be announced on December 11nth.
In Telangana 119 seats will go for polls. November 12 Notification. Nov 19 last date for Nominations. Nominations withdrawal by November 22. Only one phase of elections in Telangana.
