Polling at Dubbaka constituency is going on peacefully with Covid precautions. Voters are made to come into the polling stations with mask and gloves.
The gloves are being disposed of in a box after voting. So ar no untoward incidents have been reported. Police have beefed up the security at sensitive areas after an attempt to attack by the BJP workers.
TRS MLA was almost manhandled in a hotel by the BJP workers as they barged inside the Swarna hotel to attack the TRS MLAs. The polling is yet to pick up at various places.
KTR the TRS working President and Minister has alleged that the BJP was trying to create ruckus in the constituency as they have the fear the losing the election in Dubbaka.
KCR the CM and KTR the Minister are keeping away from the Dubbaka constituency but they are monitoring the situation from time to time. They are confident that the TRS will win the poll hands down.
CC cameras have been arranged and flying squads are ready in case of any law and order problem. The polling will go on till 6pm in the evening and it will be closed by 4 pm in the sensitive areas.
Covid patients are also allowed to vote.
