D Srinivas has been in news ever since his son has won the Nizamabad seat by wresting it from K Kavitha the daughter of KCR the Chief Minister of Telangana.
Srinivas was the PCC chief and a congress leader who later joined the TRS and was given the Rajya Sabha. But he is now under scanner by the TRS for anti-party activities and KCR has been looking for an opportunity to send Drinivas out of the party.
But he is unable to take the risk at this point in time. There is a talk that Srinivas might join the BJP and that he has already met Amit Shah the BJP President and Home Minister.
Now Srinivas is indirectly daring the TRS leadership to take action against him if he had done anything wrong. He also added that as an MP he met the Home Minster Shah and that there was nothing political about it.
The TRS must take action if he has done anything against the party DS challenged. But the TRS leadership is very serious against D Srinivas as kavitha lost the election to his son.
It is reported that Srinivas mustered the supported for his son to win the Nizamabad seat against Kavitha. But Srinivas as such is sticking to TRS to continue his Rajyasabha membership.
