The Cyberabad Police destroyed 1338.05 kg of Ganja, 485 ml of weed oil, 11 grams of cocaine, all worth about Rs. 2.5 crores. The drugs were destroyed by incineration at Hyderabad Waste Management Project in Dundigal.
In the last two years, Cyberabad Commissionerate Police have seized close to 5,406 kgs of Ganja, 10.86 Litres of Hashish/ Weed oil, 141 kgs of Alprazolam, 206 grams cocaine, 200 grams of Opium, 333 grams of MDMA.
Out of this, 1338.05 kgs of Ganja, 485 ml of weed oil and 11 grams of cocaine in eight different police stations limits under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate i.e.,
1. Balanagar – 3.867 kgs of ganja,
2. Dundigal – 198.321 kgs of cannabis and 100 ml of weed oil,
3. Gachibowli – 69.195 kgs of ganja,
4. Medchal – 114.921 kgs of ganja,
5. Miyapur – 937.25 kgs ganja,
6. Pet-Basheerabad – 4.8 kgs of ganja and 11 grams of cocaine,
7. Sanathnagar – 4.6 kgs of ganja,
8. Shabad – 5.1 kgs of ganja.
