Now the liquor consumers can get whatever drink they want. They can buy with cash and also digital payments. All these days they were getting cheap brands with high rates and that too only with cash.
The liquor consumers will get all the popular brands and not the bogus brands.
Chandrababu Naidu, during the 2024 election campaign, stated that Jagan Mohan Reddy was spoiling the health of the people by supplying “cheap quality” booze.
“I promise you to reduce the price and would supply quality liquor after we come to power,” he was quoted as saying.
Naidu had also included the control of liquor prices and cancellation of toxic liquor brands in the TD – Jana Sena joint election manifesto 2024, released in the name of Prajagalam.
Around six to ten lakh people are habituated to liquor consumption. They were angry with the Jagan government over the huge increase in liquor prices and unavailability of several brands. It is believed they voted for the TD in the present elections and are now awaiting action from.
There is news that the drinkers have influenced others not to vote for Jagan this time.
