There are different stories about this friendship. Some of them said that they were very close during school days. Other said that they were roommates during the PG in Osmania University.
We do not know what is reality, but KCR as the CM wanted the rope party to give way for his friend Sampath. Sampath was moved to tears as KCR almost hugged him and asked him about the good and bad.
Even at Pragathi Bhavan, we can see KCR calling his friends with all the excitement to him. He also helps them discreetly and does not want people to know about it.
