When YSR Government said that Lord Balaji is not seven hills and just two hills, Chandrababu thundered in the assembly that whoever cheats Balaji will face the consequences. After that YSR met a chopper accident and people know the history. Was it a curse from Chandrababu or Lord took it seriously we do not know. YSR is no more.
Now the same scene is repeating. Ramana Deekshitulu the former chief priest of the TTD is saying that a pink diamond and lot of ancient jewellery was lost and that the Government must order a CBI enquiry into the issue. He is blaming the TDP government and CM for changing the puja timings and not following the religious traditions.
If the EO Anil Singhal is to believed, they have lost nothing and everything is intact. But Deekshitulu says that the pink diamond of the lord was auctioned abroad for about Rs 500 crore. If it is really the Lord’s diamond then whoever is responsible will face the axe. The Lord will not spare them.
The Lord has shown his power during the regime of YSR, and he will show it for Chandrababu also if Babu has done any mistake. There were allegations of missing jewellery during YSR time also. But no one ordered a probe that time. But now the former priest is demanding a CBI probe. He met the Home Minister Rajnath Singh in this respect. He also met Amit Shah the BJP chief.
There is every chance that the BJP might turn the tables on Chandrababu with the help of TTD. Using religious matter is an old game for BJP and it might work out in AP against the TDP.
The corruption charges levelled by Pawan Kalyan and the charges made by Ramana Deekshituu might mar the chances of TDP this time in 2019.
But you never know Babu was saved by Lord Balaji during Alipiri blast. Who knows if he has lords blessings and not guilty he might be saved again.
