Nithin Gadkari will come to Hyderabad to lay the foundation stone for Uppal Skyway and Amberpet flyover in Hyderabad announced K Taraka Rama Rao the municipal Minister. He was talking to the media along with Deputy CM Mahmood Ali. He requested the centre not to create hurdles in the process of development.
KTR explained that some development works were stalled by the centre in name of defence lands. He said that the state government was ready to give them alternate lands and that they must come forward to give the lands for the development of Hyderabad especially to avoid the traffic congestion in some parts of the city.
Mahammod Ali said the minister KTR was a dynamic man and that he was sanctioning amount in a speedy manner for the development of Hyderabad in a big way. Ali thanked the Minister for taking up the Charminar pedestrianisation program. This work was pending since last 40 years he pointed out.
Speaking in another function pertaining to Science and Technology the Minister KTR said that every drop of water would be tapped for irrigating Telangana. He was at the Telangana academy of sciences. The NGRI, ICRISAT and agriculture university must help in developing the agriculture status of Telangana he said.
Science and Technology should be tapped for the betterment of society and for optimum use of natural resources the Minister opined.
