The TTD officers suggested people not to come to TTD as it is raining cats and dogs. Some trains have already been cancelled ue to rains in Tamilnadu. TTD made streets are filled with water and the weather is absolutely chill.
It is raining heavily, making the pilgrims’ movement difficult. The ghat roads are also threatened due to land sliding and boulders falling on them.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has alerted its staff and pilgrims. Motorists heading to Tirumala have been advised to exercise extreme caution on the ghat roads due to the heightened risk of landslides.
On Thursday morning, a boulder fell from a cliff onto the road, briefly obstructing vehicular traffic. Public access to popular spots, such as Papavinasanam Theertham and Srivari Padalu in Tirumala, has been temporarily suspended as a safety measure.
It would be better for the pilgrims to avoid the pilgrimage to TTD for now..
