Worn our film stars joining the BJP is not new. Many joined and forgot about the party also. They join just before the elections for the sake of publicity and they vanish into the darkness.
Surviving in the Telangana BJP is not that easy. D Sravan who has joined the party is already back in the TRS. Many former IAS and IPS people who joined the party do not know what to do.
There are reports about Divyavani joining the Telangana wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Adding fuel to this, she reportedly met Dr Laxman the senior leader in the party from Musheerabad who is an MP now.
The meeting is believed to be on discussing Divyavani entry into the saffron party. They take people, just before the elections and after elections, they are just ignored by the BJP.
A few weeks back Divyavani met Huzurabad MLA Etela Rajender. Though the actress said she visited the MLA to congratulate him on his victory.
There are reports that she was invited into BJP by the MLA and she reportedly said she needs some time to take a call on this issue.
With the former actress who recently came out of Telugu Desam Party meeting a senior leader like Laxman ahead of the much-talked-about Munugode bypolls, the reports are abuzz that she would join the saffron party.
We might see her campaigning for the party just before the campaign ends. Maybe she will give company to Vijayashanti who is already sulking in the party.
