The producers are looking for an alternative to Prakash Raj as he has shown his attitude in the MAA elections. Now that he has lost the election miserably it will take time for him to come back to the shootings.
There is a talk that he might lose some movies also in the long run.
Popular actors Vijay Sethupathi and Samuthirakahni are the two names that the producers are looking at to replace Prakash Raj. But Vijay Sethupathi is too busy and also costly when it comes to remuneration. Samuthira is also busy these days.
Samuthirakani was the villain in the recent hit movie Ala Vaikuntapuramulo which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Two villains from Tamil Cinema are doing well these days.
The first choice is Vijay Sethupathi who is doing as a rugged villain. The other man is Samuthirakani who was a director earlier and now is a character actor and villain in many movies.
They are slowly taking the position of Prakash Raj. Prakash Raj is fading out in Tollywood and other languages also. Vijay Sethupathi and Samuthirakani are getting the opportunity in place of headstrong Prakash Raj.
Right now Prakash needs some time to get stabilised and come back to the shoots. Both Sethupathi and Samuthirakani are filling the gaps in the film industry.
