Karan Johar, the popular filmmaker is talking about so many things, but he did not talk about the disaster of the movie called Liger.

While making he was with director Puri and also participated in all the publicity events. He has also come to Hyderabad.

But after the disaster at the box office, he did not bother to respond. He also certified Vijay Devarakonda as the next sensation in the film Industry.

Now he explained the process of how the profits from a movie are divided among the various parties involved.

Karan almost opined that as being thought by others, Producer is not the man who class the shots. It all depends on the stars and also the directors.

He stated that in the case of a high-profile director, a large portion goes to the lead actor, a smaller amount goes to the director, a little more goes to the writer, and the producer is the last to receive their share.

In his own words- “If it’s a big director then…50 to the star and 30 to… director, a little more to the writer, and…producer is the last person to make money”, Karan said.

Johar also mentioned that it can be difficult to negotiate with actors compared to distributors. Then we can come to the conclusion that it all depends on the combinations and permutations while making a movie.

Sometimes the producer has the advantage in sharing the profits and many times the other will get the major share. There is a talk that the RRR producer did not make much of profit and most of it was grabbed by Rajamoli and the stars.
