Film Director Vijay Anand has planted 3 saplings as part of the Green India Challenge. Vijay planted the saplings at Meerpet in Gayatrinagar.Then he gave the challenge to Ramana Reddy Hyderabad art Society, Director Kalyani, leading lady Amulya.
Green India challenge was started by TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar. Santosh was inspired by the Haritha Haram program which was the brain child of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
People from all walks of life are getting attracted towards the Green India Challenge and also complemented Santosh for creating this Challenge. They are saying that this is best way to protect the environment and also reduce the Global warming.
Planting the saplings must become a way of life they are saying. Even some MPs also have taken up this challenge and have planted saplings in the surroundings of the parliament building..
They also complimented Santosh for taking his initiaitve. Telugu people who are abroad are also taking up this challenge in a big way. They are also planting saplings and challenging others to do the same.So far crores of saplings have been planted across the country and also abroad with the inspiration given by Joginapally Santosh Kumar.
