Whenever there is a function in association with the TDP leaders Raghavendra Rao says that he would do whatever is needed for the TDP to come to power.
He was associated with the NTR and also Chandrababu Naidu. He was the advisor to the Government during the TDP regime. He was instrumental in directing some films for the TDP Government.
Raghavendra Rao who is a strong supporter of the Telugu Desam Party also has an anti-YSRCP ideology as he criticized the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government over the much-talked-about online movie ticket sales row.
Looks like, Raghavendra Rao is hopeful and wants to see Telugu Desam Party back in power. The director was also instrumental in launching the Junior NTR to movies with Rajamouli in form of student number one.
Raghavendra Rao was like a pedda Dikku for the NTR family members. There is a talk that he is very openly talking against the YS Jagan regime among the community and also the film circles.
Recently participated in the launch of the NTR statue also in Guntur.
