Dil Raju the mega-producer who is happy with the success of Bimbisara is under pressure to lift the ban on shootings and allow others to go for the shootings.
Hero Balakrishna is openly opposing the guild’s decision to stall the shootings. He has suggested Gopichand Malineni to go ahead with the schedules decided earlier.
Some heroes are unhappy with the way things are going on in Tollywood. The producers have closed the shootings in the name of remunerations and Budget.
But the heroes whose films are on the verge of completion are demanding that the shootings must continue and there is no use in stopping them.
Actor Suman also opined that the demand for reducing remuneration by the Heroes was not correct and that there were other ways of reducing the cost of production.
Thamma Reddy Bharadwaj also opined that the remuneration depends on the Heroes’ popularity and there was no need to reduce the remunerations.
He said that the wastage in other forms should be reduced drastically and one must go to the shoot with a bound script. Now the film workers want a wage revision at the earliest.
With the success of Bimbisara and Sita Ramam, the producers will go for the shoots. But the heroes have not budged to the demand of reduction in the remuneration by the producers.
