There is no respite for the fuel prices in the regime of NDA government under the leadership of Modi. There are coming one step down and climbing 10 steps upward. That is the present scenario. The common man is facing the heat of the rise in fuel prices and this is having a cascading effect on all other commodities.
Now the Diesel price has gone high up to Rs 69.50. This is an all-time high and people using diesel have to suffer and the entire transport sector will suffer due to this. All other commodities transported on the diesel have this effect on them and the prices will rise. This was one of the reasons where Modi and the NDA lost some of the elections in the recent times.
Both Modi the PM and the concerned Minister also assured that there would be a decrease in the fuel prices, but so far nothing has been done on this front. They cite the rise in crude oil price.
When it is compared with the UPA regime the fuel prices are not in control and here there no control over them. They rise day in and day out and diesel was never so high. It is coming closer to the petrol rates.
Before going to the elections in the three states it would be wise on the part of the NDA government to reign in on the rates and then announce the polls.
