DGP Mahendar Reddy is known for perfect discipline from his CP days. Ever since he has become the DGP, Mahendar has done a lot for the police department. He has come up from the grass root level and he is the man who has actually planned the Police Control command office, the multi-storied building coming up near the TRS Bhavan.
After seeing a school going kid on the scooter, a worried DGP tweeted that the parents must behave in a responsible manner. The DGP also has also resolved the Traffic issues in the majority of the areas in the city. After seeing the visual of the small kind standing on a scooter via media, the DGP tweeted that the parents should be careful.
Right from the CP days the DGP has brought in a lot of discipline into the policing and also introduced the friendly policing concept which became a hit with the public. The law and order is also good in the state of Telangana and the credit also goes to the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao who did not interfere in the day to day policing.
He left the law and order to the DGP and did not interfere with the policing at any point in time. That made all the difference to the state of Telangana. Telangana is also number one in policing.
