DGP and officers visit PCC

The DGP, Telangana Anjani Kumar, IPS along with M.Stephen Raveendra, IPS, CP, Cyberabad who is also incharge of Telangana State Director, TSCSB, Smt Parimala Hana Nutan, IPS Jt.CP ( Admn), Sri Gajarao Bhupal, IPS, Sri SM Vijay Kumar, IPS, SP, Intelligence, Viswajeet Kampati, IPS, SP (Operations), TSCSB, Hyderabad, KCS Raghuveer, SP, (Admn), TSCSB, Hyderabad and other officers visited the two floors in the Integrated Command and Control Centre at Road No.12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

As per the Government order No. 188 the Telangana Government had created almost 4000 new posts for Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda, Integrated Command and Control Centre, Narcotic Control Bureau and Cyber Security Bureau under the overall control of DGP, Telangana. Almost about 500 posts have been sanctioned for the Cyber Security Bureau which will be located in the Districts as well in the headquarters here.

It will run on the pattern on hub and spoke. The centre would be Command and Control Centre and will have connections with all the Districts and the Commissionerates. It will have the helpline, State Cyber Control Room, then it will have the (CMU) Central Monitoring Unit then it will have DAAU (Data Aggregation and Analysis Unit) then it will have (TIU) Threat Intelligence Unit then it will have the Forensic Support Unit then it also has the Recruitment and Training Unit then apart from the IPSU the Investigation and Prosecution Support Unit.

It will also have the facility for public awareness and engagement unit. In the field level the operational control will remain with the respective unit officers. The Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau is also designated as a notified Police Station apart from that the six (6) Commissionerates which will also have a cyber Police Station for that.

Every district will have the coordination centre and gradually all the cases of this subject which are with the CID will also get transferred to this bureau once it get fully operational. The prosecution support centre will support and guide the field level officers in various investigations. The road map plan were discussed from 0 to 3rd month then the second phase the 3rd to 6 month and the final phase 6th to 12th month, when everything will be operational.
