TRS MP Vinod Kumar said that interest must be taken to develop and maintain roads in Telangana. Addressing the media here at the TRS Bhavan, Vindo said that K Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana CM has represented the matter to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. KCR has also met PM Modi several times and impressed upon him for the development of highways and roads in Telangana.
3150 kilometres have been declared by the centre into National High ways. But about 2000 kilometres is yet to be developed and not declared as National HIgh ways he said.
KCR is planning to develop a Regional Ring Road he announced. In united Andhra, there were no proper highways for Telangana Vinod said. The central Minister should also give due importance of the roads in Telangana like they did in the AP recently. They must also highlight the things that would be done in Telangana he suggested. It may be noted that in his review KCR has suggested the officials to see that roads would be maintained like mirrors in Telangana.
He suggested that the centre must speed up the works of Highways in Telangana without any further delay.
