Develop Hyderabad in a big way-Funds is no issue:KCR

Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to constitute a Nodal Agency under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar for the integrated development of Rangareddy, Medchel and Malkajgiri districts, are integrated to the Hyderabad city.

CM KCR said that, “Hyderabad is becoming a cosmopolitan city. Rangareddy, Medchel and Malkajgiri districts, which are part of Hyderabad, are developing fast. To keep pace with the changing times and the needs, there is a need to keep the plans for the integrated development of the Municipalities, Corporations in these areas. A comprehensive plan should be prepared for the integrated development of these districts along with Hyderabad.

The government is ready to provide adequate funds for this” the CM said.

“Hyderabad has an international airport. It has wonderful and congenial climatic conditions. Through Mission Bhagiratha pure drinking water is supplied on a daily basis. We are setting up huge reservoirs by tapping water from both Krishna and Godavari rivers. Satellite townships should be constructed on a fast track and they should enhance Hyderabad map in a qualitative manner. I am sure this will happen,” the CM said.

As part of this, the CM said Shadnagar, Pedda Amberpet, Ibrahimpatnam, Jalpally, Shamshabad, Turka Yamzal, Manikonda, Narsingi, Adibhtla, Shankarpalli, Tukkuguda, Amangal municipalities, Badangpet, Bandlaguda Jagir, Meerpet, Jillelaguda, Municipal Corporations, Municipal Corporations Boduppal, Peerjadiguda, Jawahar Nagar, Nizampet in Medchel district, Medchel, Dammayiguda, Nagaram, Pocharam, Ghatkesar, Gundla Pochampally, Tumukunta, Kompalli, Dundigal municipalities, development works would be taken up. The CM said all these areas have become a part of Hyderabad and since a lot of people from all over the country are coming here and settling down, plans should be prepared based on the growing needs.
