Giving a major relief to the farming community and landowners of Amaravathi the court has suggested the State Government develop the capital as it is.
The Legislative Assembly has no right to deviate from the CRDA it ruled. This implies that Amaravathi will be the lone capital for the state of AP. According to the court, there should be no three capitals.
Plots should be developed as per the master plan within six months’ time as per the master plan stated by the high court. The central government on the other hand has made budget allocations to Amaravathi for further development.
The Budget has recognised Amaravathi as the state capital of Andhra Pradesh. This is a big blow to Jagan and his governance. Cout suggested that the master plan for the state capital must be developed without any changes.
All the development must be reported to the Court on time and the deadline is six months time. The writ of mandamus will continue the court stated.
The farmers who are on a dharna for the last eight hundred days have celebrated this with sweets today. They thanked the court for honouring the people’s request.
Nothing should be diverted or shifted from the Amaravathi the court ruled today. The CRDA master plan should be implemented as it is court directed.
