Popular actor ,director and trainer and film Institutue head Devadas kanakala is dead. He is 74 . Devadas was instrumental in training stars like Chiranjeevi, Rajinnikanth, rajendraprasad and others.
He is the father in the law of popular anchor Suma and is the father of actor Rajeev kanakala. Devdas has started Hyderabad film institute after getting trained in Pune film institute.
Most of the actors now working in Tollywood have some relation or the other with the Hyderabad film institute being run by the Kanakala family members.
Senior Kanakala also has acted in many films. Kanakala died in a private hospital undergoing treatment here in Hyderabad. He acted in films like Gang leader with Chiranjeevi. Devdas was also in the film Bharat Ane Nenu. He has a boy and a son.
