The producers after taking the decision of the closure of meetings are meeting today to decide on the ticket rates. The ticket depends on the budget now it is reported.
Single theatres and multiplexes will have different ticket rates spending on the budget of the movies. The ticket rates range from Rs seventy-five to Rs three hundred.
The highest will be Rs three hundred and not more than that. We have to see if there will be benefit shows or not.
Earlier the meeting of the exhibitors and the producers decided that the ticket rates must drastically come down in the Telugu states to attract the cine-goers to the theatres.
The rates of the snacks and drinks must also come down in the theatres so that the entire family comes to the theatres opined the producers. They have decided to meet again to come to conclusion about the rates.
They also want to fix the timing for the movies to be released for the OTT depending on the budget of the movies. They have also indicated that the directors must come with a bound script to the shooting spot and not churn the dialogues on the sets.
They are planning to come up with a fixed agenda for making movies and that one should not deviate from the rules and regulations. So far around four hundred theatres have been closed in the Telugu states due to various reasons.
The idea is to reduce the burden on the common man and also save the producer. The directors also must come down on the remunerations that they are taking from the proceeds.
