Vijaya Laxmi The daughter of Governor Bandaru Dattatreya is getting ready for the coming elections in Telangana. There was a talk that she would contest from Sanathnagar. But Sanathnagar is allocated to Marri Sashidhar the new entrant into the BJP.
It is rumored that Kishan Reddy the central Minister might opt for the MLA seat from Amberpet and Vijaya Laxmi might contest from Secunderabad the old seat of Dattanna.
There is also a chance that Vijaya Laxmi might contest from Aamberpet under the supervision of Kishan Reddy. Both Kishan and Dattatreya have started their BJP career from 5B Old MLA quarters and they have a very good bonding.
Dattatreya’s son has expired and now his daughter will be coming into the elections. Vijaya Laxmi is already popular in the city with her duty of Alai Bhali for Dussehra.
With many big leaders from other parties coming to the BJP, the BJP is on a high. The Munugode voting has instilled all the confidence in the BJP cadres.
It could be Secunderabad or Amberpet for Vijaya Laxmi this time. As the daughter of Dattanna, she will have all the edge of winning the election. Both Dr Laxman and Kishan Reddy will support her.
Funds are no issue to BJP this time as big guns like Vishwshwar Reddy, Ramesh Rao of My Home and many others are supporting the BJP. The disgruntled elements in the TRS are also indirectly supporting the BJP.
Komati Reddy brothers are already working in the district of Nalgonda district.
