The fight in Sanathnagara would be interesting this time as two popular political leaders in Hyderabad would be contesting for the Sanathnagar seat.
Dattatreya popular as Dattanna in Hyderabad and who was an MP from Secunderabad would be contesting as an MLA this time. He would clash with Minister Srinivas Yadav who is equally popular like Dattatreya.
While Srinivas is a Yadav, Dattana is a Kurma Golla. Gollas and yadavs generally fall under the category of Yadavs and it would be like the fight between Yadavs here in Sanathnagar.
The first list of the BJP is already finalised and Amit Shah who would be coming to Hyderabad would give it a green signal after some discussions with the main leaders here. It is Kishan Reddy, Laxman and Dattanna who have finalised the list and it would difficult for them to get candidates for all the 119 seats across the state. It is easy for the candidates to get a BJP ticket now.
There is no demand as such except for the few seats with the sitting MLAs. When it comes to performance Srinivas Yadav has done well by constructing the two bedroom houses here in Hyderabad. That is his plus point. When it comes to Dattanna he has also done what he could do but failed as the central minister and thrown out of the cabinet. He failed as the minister of labour in creating jobs. In fact, he has failed the BJP Government at the National level in this aspect.
it has to be seen who will get the advantage. It could be advantage TRS as Srinivas Yadav has been running from pillar to post for development along with the CM KCR.
