Daggubati the son in law of senior NTR and husband of former central minister and BJP leader Purandereswari is in hibernation since a long time. He quit serious politics since a long time and is enjoying with grand children. Now and then he is on face book adn also you tube. He is a very sober man when compared to other leaders.

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao now shared his views on movies such as ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, ‘Khaidi no.150’ and ‘Baahubali’.

Daggubati Venkateswara said ‘Usually, I don’t see movies much. At the same time, I won’t miss watching movies if I receive good feedback about them. I watched ‘Satakarni’ and it’s been made quite well. Balakrishna has got into the skin of the character.

He said actually, I don’t give much rating for Balayya as an actor because for me actors means NTR & SV Ranga Rao who own the characters like no one else. Today, the Heroes we see are just stars not real actors.

Yes, Balakrishna has done few memorable roles. I knew him from his childhood days. As a kid, he used to mimic Lord Krishna and Lord Rama. He has come to this stage with lot of dedication and hardwork. But, I am not someone who enjoys fights and dances’.

When asked about ‘Khaidi No.150’, Daggubati replied, ‘It’s not up to the stature of Chiranjeevi garu. May be, it would have collected well’.Asked about his take on Baahubali, He said: ‘It’s a Masterpiece’.

Daggubati produced NTR & ANR’s flick ‘Saptarishi’ under the direction of K Raghavendra Rao. Though he made good money, He stopped production after reaching an opinion that it doesn’t suit his mindset. There were rumors that he would be joining that party this party, but nothing happened so far.

Lets hope he comes into active politics.
