The Hike in fuel rates and LPG rate has exploded on the face of BJP here in the MLC elections. After Dubbaka election the BJPbecame overconfident and thought that it would retain the MLC seat from Hyderabad.
But the voters have shown the door to the MLC Ramachandra Rao who is also a hifi man. The division in Brahmin vote has also made all the difference.
The respect on PV Narsimha Rao the former Prime Minister also saved the TRS from losing the election. The respectable face of Vani Devi also helped the ruling party. The TRS worked hard with the feat that it would lose the election, while the BJP did not do any follow up with the voter.
All the leaders of the TRS worked with unity for the election. The BJP leaders did not help the candidates in a proper manner. The delaying of the PRC by the KCR Government also helped the TRS.
But the fuel rates which made a dent into the pockets of the citizens also made a dent into the vote bank of the BJP. The LPG rates made the ladies to move away from the BJP.
So it is not easy for the BJP in the coming elections at Tirupathi and also Nagarjunasagar. The independents also have divided the votes in a big way and it helped the TRS.
Teenmaar Mallana divided the votes and it helped Palla Reddy. Professor Kodandaram also divided the votes apart from professor Nageshwar Rao.
All this proved to be a blessing in disguise to the ruling party candidates.
