Former Karnataka minister and mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy’s daughter is getting married in November and the father seems to have invited guests in a unique way.
First the wedding card designed for the event has made a flash. Now it is reported that the film stars who would attend the marriage for an hour would get a gift of Rs one crore. The bigger the star value the gift amount will be even higher. If the stars are performing they will get good remuneration.
But getting the invite for an ordinary man is very difficult. All the big stars from Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood, and all other woods are expected. Even the food is very special. But the currency problem is hitting the marriage preparations of Gali it is reported.
Now he also needs new currency from the banks. Make the payments in white that is legal. But Gali has good friends in all the political parties especially the BJP, so no issue currency can be adjusted.
Bramhani’s wedding invitation card comes in a box which has an LCD screen inside it. When one opens the box, a small LCD screen comes up playing a song following which a message announces “Bramhani Weds Rajeev Reddy.””Atithi Devobhava (guest is like God),” Reddy sings (or lip syncs) along with his wife and son, .the media reported.
The video further shows the bride and the groom looking at each other in a coy manner. The groom is seen with white stallions in the background, while the bride is seen swirling her lehenga and running in slow motion. The video concludes with a close-up shot of the family and the announcement of the date and venue of the wedding in November.
The wedding will, in all likelihood, be a star-studded affair with the former minister apparently spending a fortune on it.
Forty-nine-year-old Reddy was one of the most powerful men in Karnataka until the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested him in 2011 in connection with illegal mining. He was in jail for three years, after which he was released on bail last year.
Reddy and his older brother G Karunakara Reddy were ministers in the BJP government led by BS Yeddyurappa till July 2011, the news channel reported.
