TTD JEO (Health and Education) Smt Sada Bhargavi directed officials to invite cultural teams from all states to participate in the annual Srivari Brahmotsavam slated in September and October.
She conducted a review meeting on Thursday at the Sri Padmavati rest house on arrangements and preparations for the Srivari Karthika and Navaratri Brahmotsavam.
Speaking on the occasion she directed officials to organise attractive devotional, cultural, music programs with prominent artists to enthuse the devotees coming for the nine-day event.
She asked them to invite top cultural teams from different states to participate in the Vahana Sevas, Nada Niranjanam platform and Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala and Mahati Kalakshetra, Annamacharya Kalamandiram and Ramachandra Pushkarani at Tirupati.
TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said Operation Chiruta will be a continuous affair for the safety of devotees coming for Srivari Darshan round the year.
Earlier the Chairman along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy visited the spot where forest officials had captured and interacted with forest officials.
Later speaking to reporters he said action plan will be conceived to ensure safety to all devotees walking through the forest area and implement it through out the year.
He said as per forest officials a male wild cat was caught in the bone trap at around 1.30 am. About 300 CC cameras were already installed in the forest footpath and another 200 will soon be rolled out.
He found fault with social media criticism on the proposal of providing sticks to walkers on footpaths as suggested by the forest officials.
He asserted that there was no attempt on the part by TTD to escape its responsibility of safeguarding the devotees.
