Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS conducted a Video Conference along with DGP Sri Mahender Reddy from BRKR Bhavan today regarding weather conditions of the North Telangana districts particularly in erstwhile Adilabad, Nizambad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam with all Districts Collectors, Superintend of Police, Police Commissioners and Chief Engineers of Irrigation departments
They have been directed to be vigilant on rainfall which the metrological department had forecasted heavy rainfall in Telangana. He directed to alert people residing in low lying areas, he also directed electricity department officials to be careful and closely monitor the situation. He directed all the field level officers to maintain headquarters.
Chief Secretary instructed all Collectors to conduct a teleconference with all officials to closely monitor the situation in the districts and take steps wherever necessary.
