CS released a book on Telangana History, culture and movements at BRKR Bhavan today. He noted that while the state has achieved tremendous progress in economic and social sectors after its formation, there is a need for more research oriented books comparing the state with the past. The historic events described in the book are a testimony to the Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s observation that every nook and corner of Telangana state has a historical background. Telangana history is believed to be 2000 years old, however, there are historical evidences to prove that early man lived in this part of the state even before. He stated that though many books are being published on history, culture and social fabric of Telangana state after the state’s formation, there is a need for more such books.
