Somesh Kumar, Chief Secretary informed the Cabinet Secretary that Telangana government is vigilant and taking all steps to prevent coronavirus in the state.
Today Cabinet Secretary, Sri Rajiv Gauba conducted video conference with all state government chief secretaries of the Country. Mr. Rajiv said that all the functionaries related to health at Centre and the state should coordinate with each other in order to contain further cases of Corona Virus. He stressed to take all necessary steps to bring awareness among the general public.
The state governments should invariably check all the entry points with utmost care and see that no persons are left unscreened and quarantine suspected cases with all necessary precautions.
The Chief Secretary requested the Central government to provide two Thermal Scanners at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, 50 Thermo N95 Masks besides two more Laboratories for testing of Corona Virus in Telangana State.
