Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari instructed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for the visit of the Honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi to the state on the 8th of this month.
Presiding over a coordination meeting held in connection with the visit of the Prime Minister to the state, she said that all the departments have to work in close coordination and make the brief visit of the Prime Minister a success.
The Police department has to make adequate security arrangements, law and order, traffic and bandobast arrangements as per the blue book.
The fire department was asked to arrange adequate firefighting equipment and fire tenders should be positioned at venue. Medical staff, ambulance and other facilities should be kept ready at all the venues.
Road used by the Prime Minister’s convoy should be repaired. Uninterrupted power supply at all the venues should be ensured, Chief Secretary said.
