CS for reduction of compliance burden

As per the instructions of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekhar Rao, Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana directed the departments to simplify and reduce the compliance burden regarding inspections, registrations, renewals, maintaining records and any other issues in the State.

Chief Secretary held a review meeting today on reducing compliance burden in 12 departments – Revenue (CT & Excise), Civil Supplies, Transport, Energy, Home, MA&UD, LET&F shared by DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) and other departments at BRKR Bhavan.

Chief Secretary said that 301 reforms are being implemented in 12 departments out of the total 20 HoDs in the Government, Telangana State occupied the number one position in Ease of Doing Business (EODB) in the Country and urged it to continue the same. Chief Secretary directed the officials to simplify the processes and make them user friendly and people-friendly policies while providing better services to the customers.

Smt. Rani Kumudini, Special Chief Secretary, LET&F, Sri Sunil Sharma, Special Chief Secretary, Energy, Sri Rajat Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, ES&T, Sri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, I&C, Sri Ravi Gupta, Principal Secretary, Home and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
