The MLC election pertaining to Mahabubnagar has become very prestigious for BRS and Congress party. The BRS is already doing camp politics under KTR and Srinivas Goud to retain the seat.
While the Congress is trying to wrest it from the BRS. There is a talk that around 100 crore would be spent in all by the political parties. Wining and dining is being conducted by both the parties for this seat. This has become a do or die situation for the BRS.
While the BRS leaders are being poached by the Congres, it is becoming extremely difficult for the BRS to sustain the momentum. Funds are not an issue for the BRS, but there are no takers for the party.
Leaders are looking at the Congress and the BJP . The MPTCs and ZPTCs are being lured with lakhs of rupees to win the election it is reported.
The BRS leaders are already camping in Goa. It is reported that Jithendar REddy the former BJP leader is now working for the Congress to wrest this MLC seat.
At the same time the BJP and the Congress are busy with the parliament elections. This MLC election will also have a bearing on the coming parliament polling.
