Minister for Finance Harish Rao today suggested that the farmers must grow crops according to needs and demand of the market. That is the reason KCR the Chief Minister is taking a keen interest in developing the crop pattern on district wise basis.
He said that that the Farmers must take the advice from the Government and agricultural department before taking a decision on the crops that they are growing.
What is the use of growing crops that don’t have demand in the market he questioned? The solid testing would be done and the crops will also be suggested according to the health of hte land he said.
The idea is to make the drawers self-reliant in the quickest possible time he explained. MP Kotta Prabhakar was also with Harrish. Minister Harish also remained that if the crops are grown according to the whims and fancies of the farmers, the Government will not extend the help of Rythu Bandhu.
The Government has been extending financial help. free power, irrigation water, and other things to the farming community.Now KCR is coming up a crop pattern map district wise to help the farmers/
