There are rumours that India -Australia tickets are being sold in black at the Uppal Stadium and other places in Hyderabad.

Yesterday thousands of cricket fans queued up at the ticket counters since last night to buy the India -Australia match tickets.

Each person was given a maximum of two tickets by showing a valid government ID proof such as voter ID or Aadhaar card etc.

Cricket fans have converged at the stadium from all parts of Hyderabad Secunderabad and Cyberabad to buy tickets, queuing up.

But only a few of them could get the tickets yesterday. There are allegations that HCA members have sold the tickets in black to some parties.

The massive queues at the counters indicate that cricket in general is very popular. Earlier the matches between Pakistan and India were popular.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is gearing up to host an international match after three years on 25th. India is set to play its third T20I match against Australia in Hyderabad.

HCA President Mohammed Azharuddin said that hosting a cricket match was not easy and it was not like making statements by sitting in a room.

The fans were eagerly waiting to see their favourite cricketers. However, cricket enthusiasts failed to get tickets to watch the match.
